with Mike OLaughlin at the Irish Roots Cafe

21 KC Irish Video Interviews
The complete series from the Irish Roots
Cafe is now posted on YouTube, click our playlist
below and choose your favorite shows..

Those we interviewed (first season)
The series includes shows with Terrence OMally,
Bob Worley, Connie Dover, Peggy Sheehan, Kerry Brown,
Chuck Haddix, Tom Walsh, Frank and Patsy Pope,
Jodi Watson, Mike Murphy, Pat ONeil, Margaret Jordon,
Mike Burke, Peter Adams, Pete Maher, Stephanie Mahoney,
Rachel Casey, and Dave Browne.

We start with the oldest days, going back to the
19th century, including the first Irish workers
to settle the town of Kansas. Pendergast is covered
in several shows, and of course Sheehans and Brownes
are included as favorite spots in modern day history.
Dancers and musicians are covered as well, even an
old song from Tin Pan Alley days, published in
Kansas City when it was noted for sheet music

Season Two to Follow, God willing
Season one (above) is the first series of its kind on
the Irish in Kansas City.
We plan a second set of interviews, to cover more history
of the Irish here, on our new upcoming video blogs.
Your input is invited.
