On Display with the Author and Publisher
On display Feb. 15 at Browne’s Irish Marketplace
starting at 1 oclock will be 35 years of Books and Discs
from Mike OLaughlin. Yes, the worlds most published
author in his field, Mike will be on hand to answer
questions on Genealogy, DNA, his Irish Hedge School,
and upcoming Irish sean nos gathering.
(He has authored over 60 books, 300 Irish podcasts in 6
fields of study, 8 CDs and DVDs, 50 videos, streaming
broadcasts, and 1,000 articles as columnist, commentator,
newsletter publisher and blogger, since 1978.)

The upcoming Sean Nos gathering
This is also the perfect time to find out about
the sean nos gathering, which will in part, be
held at the same location on April 25, 2014. The
gathering will include pub sessions and deli sessions
for starters. Those familiar with sean nos will be
on hand to acquaint you with it (most do not know
about Irish old style (sean nos). Dance instructors
are flying in and old style singers will be on hand.
All are welcome to these public events.
Those who can sing a song in Irish (gaeilge) are
wanted to participate in sessions. Same for old
style Irish dancers. (well, all Irish dancers…)

He also publishes rare books like "The Annals of Ireland by the Four Masters" and Keatings "History of Ireland". Mike also sings in the Irish (Gaeilge) Language, with 3 albums to his credit.
